Is a Scholastic Art Award Silver Key Considered Good?

LMSD Students Win Many Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Lower Merion School Commune students brought home nearly 90 gilded and silver keys and honorable mentions from the 2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards contest. Works by students from Bala Cynwyd Middle School, Lower Merion High School and Harriton High Schoolhouse were selected from more than 300,000 writing and artwork entries for these honors.

Gilded Key awards are judged to be the very all-time works submitted to local programs. Gilt Key works are automatically considered for national-level recognition. Silverish Key awards are judged to be stand-out works submitted to local programs that demonstrate exceptional ability. And Honorable Mention awards are given for accomplished works submitted to local programs showing great skill and potential.
